CUIB is reckoned nationally and internationally as a top world class university offering entrepreneurial education with a difference. This is visible in its special programmes as well as quality services provided to students to complement their learning process.
Currently, CUIB It runs two different degree programmes: First It runs a 4 year undergraduate American system called Bsc. This system is international and is the current trend in most countries around the World including Nigeria, Ghana, which follow a 4 year undergraduate degree system. Those who follow this programme in CUIB obtain an International degree and are able to compete with their peers around the world. CUIB is the first African member of the American Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU). This system is not part of the Cameroon educational curriculum. With a 4 year
undergraduate system, CUIB students get direct Access to any university in the world, especially US-based universities. Furthermore, being a Cameroon University, CUIB also offers a 3 year Professional Bachelor, from French License Professionelle, which is a French/Cameroon based system. In this system, students do a two Year HND programme and a one year programme to obtain a Professional bachelor, popularly known as B’Tech.
However, CUIB has designed its Professional Bachelor programme in such a way that it integrates Bac 3 and other relevant courses that will help their students transfer to other international universities. This is unique to CUIB. Students who enroll in the HND Professional Bachelor in CUIB have a greater advantage in many ways:
They acquire more knowledge, skills, and competences at low cost. They equally obtain a transcript that resonates well at the international Level and enjoy all facilities of the university ranging from free WIFI on campus, to VIP buses, spacious campus with 24/7 campus security, one on one coaching with faculty, quality restaurant services at low cost just to mention a few. This explains why its students are amazed with their creativity but not surprised with their successes as they study at CUIB.
